Lodging Info:

NOTE:

ALL CAMPING OPTIONS A BLACK ROCK MOUNTAIN STATE PARK ARE SOLD OUT

Lodging is not included in the ticket price. If you are up for camping, we encourage attendees to stay at Black Rock Mountain State Park, located just 10 minutes north of Downtown Clayton. It’s Georgia's highest state park, and it encompasses some of the most outstanding scenery in Georgia’s Blue Ridge Mountains. We’ve booked a limited amount of walk-in campsites, and a primitive group camp that you can reserve when you register. The park also has many incredible individual campsites/RV sites that you can book on your own. This is a great option of you’d like to have your car right beside you, a bit more privacy, or are traveling with a coed group.

However, It is NOT mandatory to stay at Black Rock Mountain State Park. If you live locally or would rather stay in a local hotel or bed and breakfast, there are many great options for that as well! The event activities will take place in Downtown Clayton, Ga and at Black Rock Mountain State Park in Rabun County, so you’ll want to be within convenient driving distance to those two landmarks. See details below for a few suggestions!

Lodging options at Black Rock Mountain State Park:

SOLD OUT! 2 Bedroom Cottages Friday & Saturday Night:

$380/cabin (book through event registration)
There are two cottages at Black Rock Mountain State Park available for rent. Each cottage has 2 bedrooms with two beds in each room (4 beds total, max 8 people). For photos of the cabins, check out the state park website. SOLD OUT!

SOLD OUT! Primitive Pioneer Campsite Friday & Saturday Night:

$10/per car (book through event registration)
This is a beautiful group camp area nestled down a ¾ mile mountain road in the park. The road can sometimes become rutted out, so a high clearance vehicle or confident driving skills in a low clearance vehicle are helpful! There are adirondack style bunk buildings, an indoor gathering space with a small kitchen area. You can also set up tents in this area. There is water and electricity in the group gathering space, but no heating or air conditioning. There are nice pit toilets and an outdoor unheated shower. You may also use the heated showers in the main campground area, but they are not in walking distance from the group site.

SOLD OUT! Non-electric Walk-In Campsites Friday & Saturday Night:

$44/site (book through event registration)
This a cluster of wonderful walk-in sites. They offer lots of privacy and are nestled in beautiful forest. Each site has a tent pad, fire ring, and picnic table. The campsites are very close to the parking area, so it’s a short walk to (75 ft to 600 ft). There is water and a bathhouse with electricity also conveniently located in the parking area. The tent pads can fit two small/medium sized tents, and 6 people, 2 cars are allowed per site.

SOLD OUT! Electric Tent/Car/RV Sites - We don’t have any of these sites set aside, but they are available to book through Black Rock Mountain State Park’s website. These sites are located near the walk-in campsites, and they are a great option if you’d like more space and privacy or are traveling with a coed group.
